Uranium Ore, Uranium Oxide, UF6 and so on
Howdy folks,

I have a quick question:

I am finally working on developing a small nuclear fuel production complex. Uranium Ore works as an aggregate and is transported using conveyor belts. Uranium Oxide is stored in the open storage but what can transport it? Can forklifts pick it up at the factory and move it to an open storage? Can UF6 be moved by forklifts as well?

I am asking this because I already set up the complex to my liking but for some reason, the forklift facilities do not seem to find anything "transportable" at the Uranium Processing Plant while the whole complex is still dormant. I haven't built the population center to man the complex yet and am wondering if I need to modify anything or not.

Thanks in advance for responses.

Edit: Forklifts can transport uranium oxide, tried both western and SU types. Guessing by what you said, it's just because the UPP is dormant and hasn't produced anything.

Also, as a second question: Where the hell can I store UF6? I can't seem to find any kind of storage that is able to hold it.

Is that designed in such a way or are the storage types not fully upgraded/updated?

According to the research I've managed to do online it is possible, in real life, to store both UF6 and the fuel rods themselves (for which I can't seem to be able to find any types of storage units either).

Much appreciated!

Probably because you need 0.75 tons of UF6 to make a container, which can then be transported.

Thank you very much for your help!

In order to move UF6 from processing plant to the vehicle storage, do you happen to know if I can use forklifts again? I'm just trying to avoid the overflow principle where the storage doesn't get anything until the export storage from the factory is filled up (don't know if this was changed but this is how it used to be).

EDIT: Also, do the same rules as for UF6 apply for the fuel rods as well? Vehicle storage, open hull and maybe (hoping - fingers crossed) forklifts?

On a different note though, do you guys happen to know if trains can now load on flat bed cars at the vehicle storage? I remember when the auto plant was first put in, that there was a bug where trains didn't seem to want to load at the vehicle storage.

When the UF6 is packed up in a container, no forklift can carry that since it's a vehicle. Also the reason why you can't order forklifts to a vehicle storage, from then on it's trucks or trains. Yep, this does work. Just look for the flatbeds able to carry vehicles and you're good to go.

Eh... Worth hoping for xD

Many thanks!
