Less darkness at night FIX

Just managed to make nights less dark to save my eyes:

All you need to do is modify night.ini in ...\Steam\steamapps\common\SovietRepublic\media_soviet\weathers\night.ini

Just change change

 $SUNAMBIENT 0.201667 0.268889 0.385000 1.000000 

to

 $SUNAMBIENT 0.501667 0.568889 0.685000 1.000000 

Also if you want to play around with lighting settings you can use model viewer to easily preview the effects of your changes.


One more easy fix to help with eye fatigue is to drop the brightness of GUI top bar elements by 50% GUI elements are found in ...Steam\steamapps\common\SovietRepublic\media_soviet\editor

Files you want to change the brightness of are:
interface_toppanel.png
interface_toppanel_hotkey.png


EDIT:

Snow was also blinding me during the day. I dropped the secular value to make it less reflective. If feels like this also made roads less reflective and blend better into the environment
