Cooling Tower to Twin reactor

Just dont get it, have connected a cooling tower to my twin reactor but still it says "missing cooling tower"..........is cooling tower working? Guess I must have overseen something, but cant figure out what - and yes reactor and tower is connected with pipes..............

You think you need 2 towers? I saw one in youtube who only used one tower and that worked perfect

And the argument for that is? Because its a "twin reactor" and not a single one?

Yeah you need two towers. I have no idea why but I had the same problem when I first built a twin reactor and a second tower solved the problem.

Well in real like a 78 MW power plant probably wouldn't have a cooling tower, but a real reactor would be over 10 times more powerful, typically, and that would need some serious cooling. I hope someone will make a coast-based cooling system that replaces the cooling tower. That would be cool. It would act as a cooling tower but just be built on the water.

The coal PP don't need cooling, but if i remember right the gaz PP require one cooling tower.
If there is a cooling pipe connection on the building, it need cooling.

Are you saying "gas" power plant? I'm sorry, I have 1,550 hours in game and none in the last 2.5 years. I got burned out and so much has happened. I'm embarrassed to even have to ask on here. I built the normal coal PP but I'm getting the message that no cooling towers are attached. I built a cooling tower and attached the out from the PP into the in on the cooling tower but I'm still getting the same message. Do I need 2 CTs? I thought the coal pp already have towers. Also, I see there are multiple in/out connections on cooling towers. How does that work (what is the chain – A to B to C, etc…)

The cooling tower needs 2 lines attached to the power plant (and you can't 'chain' towers, to my understanding) to work. Just 1 line won't work; both the 'IN' and 'OUT' ports from the power plant need to be connected to the same tower.
