Radius of firefighter station (and hospital)
I have some questions about firefighters.

1. How long is radius of firefighter station? Or any another condition, when firefighters go to the fire.
2. Does it depend on quality of roads?
3. Is there the way, how can I see in the game (for example, like electricity)?
4. When some building fires, how can I see if someone go put out the fire?
5. When there are two firefighter stations near the fire, what exact will happen?

The same questions about hospital.

4. In notificarion message you can read if some trucks going to fire
5. The closest will send the trucks if enough firemans etc.. if not next close station.. if need 4 firetrucks.. and only 2 at closest firestation.. then another 2 should be called from second close fire station

Same is true for hospital

Hope that helps

I'm sorry for theme up, but if nobody stucks with situation: building is on fire but nearest fire station doesn't react on it?

Didn't test range, so cannot tell you about that (but there is effective range of operation from Hospital/Fire Station - if building where help is required is too far and route there takes too much time, it will burn down/citizen will die, before proper staff arives), but as about other things:
-quality of roads doesn't seem to affect range, at least in city neighbourhood (like... 3-4km?), but does affect vechicle speed, which in turn gives fire more time to spread (and cause casualties) (or worse state of injured/ill citizen). It's good idea to have asphalt roads to places like fuel tanks or kindergardens, as they tend to catch fire and burn really, really fast.
-you will get in-game notice (in form of telegram) each time somerthing catch fire, fire is put out and something burns down. You will notice it by changed apperance of mail icon in lower right corner of the screen (envelope will be sealed if there are unchecked telegrams - but not every new message is related to fire, as you will get there info about new vechicles if proper option is enabled; as for hospital - there are no notifications for that). When fire is put out, or building is burnt down, you will get info about casualties (if any) and in latter cause also about material losses (didn't check if it's always in Rubles, or currency changes depending on funding source for building - lost only 2 buildings to fire so far, both build for Rubles).
-as far as I have seen, only one fire station sends firefighters to fire - the one that's closest to the fire source. However, I may be wrong at that, as I didn't test it much, and if auto-mode works in same manner for hospitals and fire stations as it do for construction offices, there aren't any obstacles for sending fire brigades from multiple stations aganist one fire (that is, when fire requires more firefighters to put down that is available at one station - stations seems to send always only as much vechicles as needed to put fire down; hospital always sends only one ambulance for citizen).

As for @keeperofswords question, I have seen once that fire stations bugged out and fire was left unchecked, resulting in building loss. Not sure what caused it though, but have seen that vechicles can sometimes get stuck or have problems with patchfinding - it's still early access after all.
There is a pretty good radius on the fire department. On the prebuilt map I have been able to service the capital and 2-3 of the smaller country villages. But then when it’s that far out you run the risk of buildings burning down and civilians dying.

So far my fire fighters try to get to anywhere that there is a road connection--but if the site of the fire is too far away they never make it before the building burns down. After that happened once or twice I build more fire stations in industrial areas.

I do wonder how the AI decides how many trucks to send. I max out trucks in every station, but sometimes the AI sends two trucks when one would be sufficient and one when two are needed. Last night four heroic comrades died in a fire at the cinema because the fire station only sent one truck and five fire fighters. A button to send an additional truck would be very helpful.

Thanks for answers

The number of guys send depends on the vehicle used. So a 12er vehicle has 12 fire fighters in it. If a building burns, the AI calculates how many firefighter are needed. If it needs 10 your car carries 6 * 4 it sends out 3 cars

In my experience it seems that placing trees can somehow cut off access to buildings sometimes. Had a fire station directly next door to a building that was on fire and it just wouldn't send a truck despite a bunch of fire fighters hanging around in the station, along with several trucks. I suspect placing trees down somehow cut off access to the driveway of either or both the station and the building next door to it.

I take back my comments. Wouldn't want to spread rumours. Turns out the trees had nothing to do with it. Although the fire station appeared to have a road connection to the road passing in front of it, it turns out the fire station driveway connected directly to the apartment building across the road rather than the road passing between the buildings.

Would be great to have smaller fire stations with one or two engines.

Thanks for the response 3division, a lot of unknowns for us players to deal with while you are in early access. Clear and definitive answers like this one cut down the learning curve.
