Warehouse issue and no logic behind
I really like the game but number of small issues are very frustrating. There is no logic in some chains.
Maybe someone could help me. I would appreciate.
So I have a warehouse which stores (imported with train) crops. I connected it to distillery. In this warehouse I limited to only crops. Then I connect second input (output???) of distillery to another werehouse when I want to store alkohol. And production is stopped cause there is no option to store exported goods. Where is logic here. Morover I found that there are several tons of alkohol in the 1st warehouse (before i limited to crops only). And I cannot take that alkohol back even with trucks. No idea how to paste a screenshot here.

Try put them on outside (non Steam) host of pictures and give here links to them.
Don't forget to make a shoots with open windows of warehause and destilery too. It's important how they are configured.

Goods can basically just go through 1 direct connection. When I make a situation like this I try to jam the 3 buildings in a sort of triangle so that all 3 are directly linked to each other. Goods don't really flow through buildings, just links. Except of course for the situations where they do sort of flow...

What you are describing here is not an issue for the OP, as he is not trying to daisy chain buildings.
Instead, he has something like this Warehouse (Grain) <--> Distillery <--> Warehouse (Alcohol).

Provide screenshots or even a save file for better results, OP.

I didn't know that the connections between objects (these yollow ones) can be so long. I thought it can be very short only.

meraco, are you bringing crops in via train? The big difference I see between your set up and the OP is that you store crops in grain elevators, not in warehouses. That would certainly keep alcohol out of the grain storage.

Are you using multiple farms or does one farm supply enough crops to keep food, livestock and alcohol all running?

Where is logic ? Your issue is that warehouse is full of food. thus you cannot store alcohol...

You are right, I made a bad screenshoot which does not represent the issue. The warehouse was not filled with food before so it does not show what I mean.

In general in my opinion there should be an option to set each connection to werehous as "input" or "output"

I think that In my case the final product (alcohol) was "going back" in a production chain. So it was going back and stored in a warehouse where the crop is being stored and supplied by train. In my opionion it should be forwarded to a different (also connected to distilliry) werehous (output)
so the final product (ie. alcohol) is not mixed with component (crops)

Can the train deliver the crops to a station attached to a grain elevator as in meraco's set up? That would eliminate the flow-back.

TZX.. there should be not flow back.. distillery can only push alcohol to buildings around .. so into warehouse 1 or warehouse 2.. if you limit resources only to crops in one warehouse... alcohol should not go there.. and if yes.. is bug.. if you can confirm and reproduce this behaviour.. to alcohol appearing even there is set limit.. submit the save.. and I will check: http://sovietrepublic.net/support

No problem.. even is not issue in the game (more or less)... is still issue.. that means something is not clearly explained.. even I not have much time to fix issues like this now.. but it train my mind.. and every misunderstood by players.. adding +1 in some virtual counter. in my mind. after I see too much confusion somewhere .. I will consider as more serious issue .. I will fix.. or think up something :-) so thank you even for this "issues"

I can only imagine how a huge amount of work it is, planing, milions of relations etc but well...it should be to be perfect some day. I hope. Keep my fingers crossed for You, game idea is really great.
