Trains loading fuel/bitumen ultra slow
So I have my oil industries running and filling my tanks up with raw oil bitumen and fuel. Because by now I have such a big overproducing esp in fuel I wanted to sell it. So I set up a train filling station and a nice tanker train. But it takes ultra long to fill the train. Am I doing something wrong? I have power and the tanks are filling much faster than the train

I have the same situation, I just think it's designed that way. After all, it is thicker than fuel. I don't think you have anything wrong.

Make sure you have a pump between the refinery and the tanks. I've heard that pumps between the tanks & the train loading station help, but my slow loading problem went away when I put a pump between the refinery & the storage tanks. Note: only 1 pump is needed - that one pump will carry both fuel and bitumen to the tanks (but you do need 2 tanks; 1 for each) - its just that the one pump can be connected to both tanks.

Okay thanks I will try that. Thanks

A refinery with just a tank waits until the refinery storage hits a special level, than it "swapps" to the tank. The Pump, just get the stuff directly out of it and saves internal storage. A refinery - tank - Oil/Gasloadingstation works even without a pump.

I know that it is unnecessary, but I usually set up one tank for fuel and one for bitumen--each with its own pump and pipe to the loading station. Then I set up two trains, one for fuel and one for bitumen--both waiting until full.. The bitumen train runs less often, but the bitumen seems to be worth more. I also set up a pipe from the bitumen tank to the asphalt plant and fill fuel trucks from the road connection at the loading station to deliver gas to my gas stations. One truck can easily serve multiple gas stations.

My refinery has plenty of oil, but often could use many more workers than my buses deliver. For me that is what slows down production.
