Modifying a Save Game
Howdy folks,

I currently have a problem where I managed (not really wondering how) to run out of money right before I put my exports on the right track.

I was wondering if there's any way for me to edit the save game so I can switch it to Unlimited Funds or to add some more Rubles and/or Dollars?

I know this is a stupid question but I put a lot of work into this save and I'd very much like not to throw it away xD

Thanks a lot in advance!

C+h+e which will unlock the cheat menu, then you can use ctrl-m to add 100K at a time.

Other than that I don't think you can edit the save game the way you want since everything is in bin files

Edit: in the current release, 0.8.0.21 you have the option of taking loans, so no cheats required for almost unlimited funds :)

Thanks very much for the info!

Weird, I haven't seen any interface to take loans on the stable branch but I'll take a better look at things, maybe I missed something (which is entirely possible) xD

I did wonder the same as I see a couple of ini files within each saves folder. One of them called "stats.ini". Not sure if that adds any possibility to change any values tho.

I will look again, but I don't think there is a way to edit that part specifically. But maybe I'm wrong.

No problem! If I remember correctly off the top of my head the economy menu is where the loans are.

Yup. I found it right before @ryantheskinny replied. It made sense for it to be in the "Economics" tab I just hadn't looked for it since I didn't really know it had already been implemented.
