Yes, everything has power. Everything is working correctly except the forklifts are taking their sweet time. After the last post, I timed it. It takes 50-55 seconds for each forklift to load. I sold off 2 of them just to see if it made a difference, but it didn't. With only 2 forklifts, they are still backed up.
I located the folder, but the only file dated today is called Log. It's a Chrome HTML file. Is that the correct one?
Thanks, Ryan. It may not be necessary now. I've been playing with it and here's what happened:
I had 10 gravel dumpers (far too many) heading into the Prefab plant. I eliminated them to give the plant time to process everything, and I also assigned 3 flatbed trucks to move the output to storage. Once the inventory lightened up, the forklifts started moving again. It looks like they get confused when everything is full. Does that make any sense?
Looks like I spoke too soon. Once the prefab factory was empty, I restarted production and, with only 10 tons of panels in the output, the forklifts slowed down again.
Thanks for your input, Ryan. Should I still send the save file?
So set your factory to "load only" and storage to "unload only".
Also if you use forklifts on more complicated warehouses-/factories use 1 forklift stand for each good type - to avoid problems like 'forklifts stucks with bricks on forks when they need transport panels
Thanks, Thorstein92. That is how I have it set now. The forklifts are tasked only to load panels at the factory and unload them at storage. No other settings.
Right now I'm using trucks to help out and that is working, though not ideal.
My design, being new to the game, isn't probably the best but still very functional and the appropriate factory connections and power etc is very much in place.
At first they seemed to be doing a good job but they soon seem to get snarled up and function as the OP described in the first post. I did delete (sold) the one at the front of the queue thinking that something was wrong with it. But then the next one just moved forwards and seemed to stay there for a long time.
My fabric factory stops as it is full and can't export to the warehouse. My clothes factory (I have 2) stops as it is full of clothes, and sometimes short of fabric.
There is room in the warehouse for both of these items.
I thought that it might be that I needed more forklift trucks so I built another of their depots.
I have tried various settings of loading and unloading but overall it is not working ideally, often with log queues of those forklift trucks seemingly snarled up and stuck in a long line.
I have thought of building a second warehouse opposite the other, if they will split up and use them both.
I did supplement the FLT's with a normal truck to help move stuff around.

I think that I'll reduce the workers, and output, from my fabric factory to see if that helps.
That was a bad idea :-)
