Conveyor belts crossing itself
Is there a way, that I can cross two conveyor belts an flat terrain?
I have experimented with the mods for different heights, but didn't manage to get a crossing.
Is it possible with more terrain difference or in general Not possible?
Would be nice to have it for a more complex industry area to avoid trucks.

It can be done, but you have to offset them so that the low point of one is underneath the high point of another, then fiddle with it because the supports can be really temperamental.

OffTheRails has made some mods so that they can bridge road/rail, but I don't know if he's made one for Conveyor/Conveyor yet.

I have the mods for the different crossing options. But one for crossing conveyors is not included.
Guess I have to fiddle around.

Thx for the help guys.

It wouldn't be possible to mod if you were wanting to have different aggregates, like coal going over iron or gravel for example, which is why I presume you want it. The easiest way to do it with my mod is to have the high connectors for one and use a vanilla one placed somewhere in between and offset a bit as Stig said

I have done it using vanilla structures. It requires planning and patience

Now, it is way easier to do with the conveyor mods in the workshop. I am using the offtherails pack. Specifically the different routing options for ins and outs.

Around this time someone will chime in and say something about conveyor belts not being used anymore. That's incorrect, Modern, heck its not even modern anymore, its decades old, intermodal shipping has resulted in the shipping freight terminal most people see as just stacks of containers 10 up, 10 across and 20 wide serviced by giant cranes. Regardless its within the games era.

However, since I play on C

OH no he snuck it in here again. That tick of his

osmonaut mode, I am very concerned about fires and the CY getting access to actually build. Give some space. Make some room.

I have just finished the planning on a coal mine area.

1 mine, 3x coal processors, 3x coal power plants, 2 train stations: aggregate loading, and passenger, and a fire station.

Only one conveyor crosses over another. Its done so that everyone is in range of the single passenger station.

If I would haul to a power plant just a few meters away, that cross over would be unnecessary

I don't think conveyors are obsolete today. E.g. coal is shipped around the world, but cannot be stored in containers and conveyors are used to transport it. I know about surface coal mining in Germany with kilometers of conveyor belts to feed directly a Power plant.
So it is still state of the art.

And again thx for your help guys. I will figure it out eventually.

Probably the best conveyor mod out there in my opinion. Helped me a lot when it comes to more complex conveyor systems

Ah yes, i have this also but never used it for some reason. I only now realise that this one also has conveyors at the top so yes, this is better :D
