The same could also go for trains. Now then our republics could get 100% self sustaining.
ZiS/ZiL, KamAZ, UralAZ, KrAZ, UAZ, MAZ, BelAZ, and AZLK are original Soviet automobiles that I can think of on top of my head.
LADA is Italian, license produced in the USSR, and not an original Soviet car, although LADA Sputnik and LADA Niva are original Soviet cars.

It is a bit nonsense that cars of this kind appear in a socialist country-themed game here and there, but if they appear as pops(for props) from Party HQ or specific facilities or as personal cars that appear with a low probability, My Loyalty to Party central is will hotter more than now!
Tatra personal automobiles historically excellent vehicles for early to mid 20th centuries, but somewhat unlikely that RR cars will generally be widely distributed in the western or eastern bloc.
but, Tatra trucks is excellent and beautiful...
so.. Please give me more drive wheels, more capacity, and more POWEEEER!!! (of V12)
Marxism and this like car are essential in order to develop an unspoiled land :D
For a Hard Mode sort of challenge, have the Car Factory also function as a research facility where we need to research (aka reverse engineer) foreign vehicles in order to learn how to build them locally. Once researched we can then have the vehicles built.
It would also be interesting to see locally built vehicles have a variation to the model, to indicate that they were built locally, as opposed to imported.
And that's the point: I want a tank factory and barracks and if the workers don't work you can force them to work with help of the tanks. A T-72 would be sufficient.
As for cars, you obviously dont know Škoda basically across all of todays czech republic, and Tatra, while mainly making trucks, they made some very fuel-hungry and the like, cars for the elites, like a chief of a state company would have a driver also.
In ČSSR, plebs generally had Škoda cars, while I remember 20 years ago, those wartburgs were still running.
workers in general didnt work as hard because the economy was going for 0 unemployment, because thats the way it was. Efficiency wasnt as good, but everybody was employed and had a decent living. If you were a commie, you had an easier acess everywhere, if you were of burgeouis descent, you were viewed as an unprogressive, in other words, hostile element.
If you worked extra or unofficially, make a crapload of money, your neighbors would be suspicious how did you get so much money :D Not that you worked hard, oh noes xD
Then some folks from secret police might show up and give you a few questions. In general it was about, if you were stealing from the state property. Today, only the rich can steal, back then, it was a widespread thing, plan accomplished to 110% unless some enforcement was sent from the state, you had some rich people who were friends with the local party leadership, you were almost immune, or you faced very mild punishment. That was mid 80s.. Nobody really was then expecting the collapse of the regime btw.
So, there was no way workers wouldnt work, as generally, it wasnt about squeezing the worker completely. Alcoholism was a thing, smokes, but no other capitalist drugs. No homelesness either. In general you werent very rich. The state had a lot of money from the state companies.
Unlike in 1990s, when a color revolution came to our country, all important strategic state assets were basically given almost for free, mantra given was: The state is a bad owner. And suddenly social services went down because the state no longer had the income from the massive industry. It wasnt all uncompetitive, only people back then thought that the west was our friend. About 300000 ppl were forced to emigrate in late 1990s, cause the new media said, state is a bad owner.... massive theft. It went unpunished. Commies did lots of bad things, but what followed didnt bring us pretty much ... anything.
Anyway, In ČSSR both cars and I think trains were made by Škoda. But One in mladá Boleslav was making cars, in Plzeň, I think they were making trains and similar things.
pollution was a thing, with that lead in petrol,..
then Černobyľ is some 700km away, all good for health :P
Shorter life expectancy than today, in general, but also, you were to retirement in about your mid-50s. Women depending on number of children could retire even sooner.
rather famous vehicles of the time, Škoda 1203 (68-99), personal cars, 1960s, Škoda 1000, then 100/110, in 80s, 105, 125, later 130, from 88 Favorit. LIAZ trucks, etc...
Well, between T-64, T-80 and T-72 the last one was the cheapest one :3
In Poland moto industry was kind of nonexistant before the World War 2 and absolutely dead after it. Therefor fairly common approach to cut corners was to license model (or parts of it) from some other manufacturer. Usually it was Italian FIAT but there were others: Steyer, Berliet, IHC.
Most popular models in Poland 1945-1989
Personal cars:
FSO Warszawa - license of soviet GAZ-M20 Pobeda. A gift from Jospeh Stalin. And you just can't say NO to that guy :)
https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/FSO_Warszawa
FSO Syrena - a learning process for the whole generations of post-war engineers. Regarded as lacking even by official government newspapers. It had one advantage, you could fix almost any malfunction by hitting it with a hammer really hard. On more serious note, it was supposed to supplement FSO Warszawa by being cheaper to produce and procure.
https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syrena_(samochód)
Polski Fiat 126p - FIAT license, the car which motorized Polish Peoples Republic.
https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiat_126
Polski Fiat 125p - FIAT license, it replaced FSO Warszawa in big car/small car combo. Wet dream of pretty much everyone since 1967.
https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polski_Fiat_125p
FSO Polonez - developed in cooperation with FIAT. It was hoped Polonez would replace 125p (it didn't) and bring in much needed dollars to Polish economy. Unfortunately, even though it had few modern solutions it also had too much in common with 125p (old car by that point) to make it in the competitive western market. Very popular in Poland thanks to tv show detailing exploits of brave and dashing Militia officer who not only was a very competent law enforcer, he also had numerous encounters of sexual nature with women he was not married to. Both things a novelty in socialist Poland. To this day old Polonez car is called "Borewicz" from the last name of this character - lieutenant Sławomir Borewicz.

Trucks:
To keep things short, the most important truck is already in the game - Jelcz 300. It succeeded Żubr A80 (together with numerous American and Soviet trucks) as the main heavy truck for Poland. There were plethora of variants, including semi-trailer truck - Jelcz 317.
https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jelcz_300
https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jelcz#Produkcja_od_1965_do_1975
The other company supplying trucks was Star. They produced a bit lighter and less powerful vehicles. The most popular variant is by far Star 200 and 244. But, when it comes to utility, they are very similar to Jelcz 300. I sometimes wonder why would I need a light truck in Workers and Resources beside the pure joy of seeing it go.

Buses:
Here Jelcz company shows up again. The story starts with the effort to give Poland a bus. Any bus. As work progress is slow the company goes shopping. It is decided that Jelcz will work witch the license from Czechoslovakian Skoda and Jelcz 043 was born.
https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jelcz_043
My absolute fav is Jelcz PR110 though. Absolute beauty, licensed from Berliet.
https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jelcz_PR110
When it comes to buses though, the absolute winner is Autosan H9. Until very recently you couldn't throw a rock in Poland and not hit one of those. Autosan H10 was also a very popular one, meant to be a replacement for H9.

Construction vehicles:
From Huta Stalowa Wola we have heavy mobile cranes - Hydros T-251, T-401, T-631 and T-1001. Developed in cooperation with the USSR to remedy the lack of such vehicles in the Eastern Bloc.

I recommend this forum:

Lots of pictures of machines from companies like Baukema (East Germany), Bumar (PL), Waryński (PL), Fadroma (PL), Madro, HAMM-STAVOSTROJ, Ostrówek (PL), Nicolina, Unikop.
Farming equipment:
Farming tractors were produced by Ursus. IIRC the only prewar band which wasn't phased out of existence by the new government. Most notable models C-330, C-335 (Czechoslovakian license from Zetor 4011) and heavy tractor C-385 built in cooperation withch Czechoslovakia, their model being called Zetor 8011. I believe the last model was Ursus 1224.
https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ursus_(ciągnik_rolniczy)
Combine harvesters were produced under the brand Bizon by Fabryka Maszyn Żniwnych w Płocku.
https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bizon_(kombajn_rolniczy)
Notable models:
- Z056 Super - first mass produced.
- Z058 Rekord - a very modern one.
- Z060 Gigant - let's say, it was a big machine. Also quite modern.
If I were to point out one thing... which was exported west with ease... that would be combine harvesters.
