combine storage buildings
Is there a way to combine several storage buildings of obe type to form a bigger storage? I tried with 4 warehouses, connected via industrial way, but goods are limited to the first house so a train picking up the goods at warehose 4 does not get any of them.

so far as it is right now you cant do that. Rather then multiple warehouses, use a train cargo station & have trucks load from multiple warehouses to the cargo station.

You can combine up to 4 warehouses and probably 4 storages too. You just cannot use cargo station there.

Here are two examples. You can send vehicles to load at storage/varehouse) where the road is built and it will take material from any of the storages. And you can unload at any other storage if you want to bring material in. This can be used for example if you want to build a logistics centre.

with multiple oil storage tanks and pumps you can equalize their content.

i am running 24 oil rigs on a large field. The oil is collected in 3 tanks. But my problem was that when one of the tanks was full, some oil rigs which were connected to it over pumps stopped working.

so found a solution how to equilize oil between tanks.

all 24 oil rigs are bound with pipes and pumps to a sinlge output pipe.
the output goes into pump with 3 outgoing pipes, each connected to one of the tanks.
tanks betweet each other connected with pipes.
one outgoing pipe from the connected tanks, goes back into the pump which provides single output.

this way i have oil being pumped in circle and equaly spread among 3 tanks. So they can only run full or empty all at once.

PS: noticed that there seem to be no pass-through limit on pumps and pipes. You can push as much liquid through a pipeline as you wish.

also one pump can pump different liquids through same pipe at same time.
in example you don't have to build extra pipes and pumps for oil and fuel, a single pump can pump both through same pipe to different tanks.
