I'll try it. Thanks!
apparently the trucks can "pull" trhough the storage but not the trains ?
But the old "load and unload" trick with a truck make it work perfectly, phew !
It's down to the "area of effect"; load/unload (trucks/trains/etc) and produce/consume (factories/mines/etc) actions have a range of 1 building from their origin.
A truck parked at Space for Vehicles is considered part of the "Space for Vehicles" building, so the factory (and the train cargo station) is 1 building away. The train parked at the cargo station is considered part of the cargo station...so the "Space for Vehicles" is 1 building away, and the factory is 2 buildings away.
EDIT: Do i need to do something to the open wagon to accept cars?
