Of course all can be done with a lot less for the price of efficiency. It just drives me nuts when I want to optimize a setup. It doesn't matter if the industrial complex needed will be big, but keep in mind other plastics consumer e.g. electric devices also shall be built. It seems somehow strange to me that i might have to turn half of the map into chemical facilities to support all these needs ending up in maybe one single end consumer facility each (car factory, electronic devices).
If the chemical facility qould not be that big...not to mention the complex outside in and inside out connections making it impossible to properly stack them

Because the inputs are such low volume you can use trucks to deliver. I factory import logs because I'm too lazy to replant forests, everything else is home produced (crops, gravel and oil)
