CO-OP FATAL ERRORS

So for a bit a buddy of mine and I have been having issues with a modded co-op where any time I try to connect to them or they try to connect with me we get a crash to desktop fatal error. It only does this with this specific friend but if I play with any other friends with the same modpack it works fine.

We've tried validating files.
We disabled all mods.
and it really only started with DLC6

If anyone has any ideas it would really help

Are all the mods updated/have the same version? Do you have the same mod load order?

I have yet to check for load order, but the versions are the same yes.

The issue aint really lost connections, its more that it crashes to desktop.
