How is the Solaris expansion these days? Did the 2 patches fix most of the issues?

It's... better. Probably one more and I'll stop being so "eh" about it.

It sure does accelerate your progress. I had two assault lances, a heavy lance, a medium lance, and a light lance by the time kestrel lancers started. The whole thing was a cake walk compared to what I'm used to.

What it needs more than anything, is for the commentators to be able to quickly jump to a new line of dialogue to match the situation.

In MW4: Mercs, even if Duncan was in the middle of summarizing some mercs life story, he would still immediately cut off if a combatant was downed with a snappy line.

Oftentimes in MW5 I will down multiple opponents and the dialogue has to slowly catch up to all the things that have happened, it really pulls me out of the moment.
AI in the FFA matches is still pretty dodgy; an AI that spawns alone in a map corner will too often remain there until actually engaged. This makes matches drag on longer than they should, at least on larger maps.

Commentary sometimes seems to attribute all kills in an FFA to Mason.

The Solaris story missions themselves seem to crash if you have RTX enabled.

Okay, but hear me out: That's literally how I win a lot of matches. By hiding until the enemy has already been weakened.
Still has the "Over tonnage adjudication" issue where the game randomly decided your lance is over tonnage and sends some random vehicles to harrass you..fortunately vehicles are only a minor annoyance but its still a bug they haven`t fixed.

The only unexpected time I had this happen was when I was in a Medium 4v4 and I brought 1 Heavy mech, plus 3 lighter mediums so I was 220 Tons exactly.

I believe the criteria is both: No Mech heavier than 55 Tons (the top of Medium), AND total <=220 Tons.

Check next time whether you've accidentally thrown in a 65 Ton Thunderbolt or Crusader into your medium 4v4.

Aye. I haven't run into surprise punishment VTOLs either.

I do run modded, so I have had other silliness happen... like, say, seeing Coyote's ravager and firestorm turrets spawn, seemingly hostile to all participants, in a light mech FFA. Most light 'mechs aren't really buit for holding up against 3x PPC or LRM80 barrages :D ...

Light- Up to 35 tons
Medium- Up to 55 tons
Heavy- Up to 75 tons
Assault- up to 110 tons (100 tons in this game)

I've had adjudication dispatched because I thought medium went up to 60 tons, and I brought a mad dog. I still fit in the overall tonnage, but because I brought a heavy into the fight, the adjudicators showed up.
FFA matches are still a mess. 1 enemy at the edge of the map wouldn't move until approached, and 2 others were stuck patrolling a small area around them and wouldn't look for enemies past that zone.
It's fine, you can get some nice salvage from it, and suddenly melee mechs have a real chance with most of the Solaris maps encouraging knife fights like that more often. Otherwise the AI is...well it's still not very good, and often will just sit there doing nothing until you shoot them.

A very 5/10 but the Roughneck is pretty cool.

The last time i noticed it, it was a 4V4 light mech 140 ton limit i was running 3 Panther and an Urbie..i mean it could have mistaken the urbie for a small assault mech given its awesome reputation ^-^.
