Remastered versions of these games would be even better. A lot of people have nostalgic memories of these games and there is a lot of money for nostalgia in the gaming industry these days.
Just last month Bethesda got four million people (me included) to buy a remastered version of Oblivion for the price of a brand new game... A game from 2006.
Nightdive Studios made a whole business remastering old titles.

Let's face it, a lot of the audience for MechWarrior games are older guys who remember this series from the good old days.
There would be a market for remastered versions of these games.

The MechWarrior and MechCommander series are the second most requested game franchises on GOG of all time.
There is still a lot of interest in these older games.
Like I said there is a lot of money in nostalgia these days and older gamers tend to have more disposable income. Who knows with upgraded graphics and other quality of life feature some younger gamers who never played these before would also give them a try.
