RTX3070
Towards the end of the 1st mission framerate drops to 10 then it crashes because of "not enough video memory".
Everything is on high and ray tracing is off.
That's really across the board. Any GPU. Don't think much attention went into optimizing this game.
Until two weeks ago, I was playing with the Radeon Pro 580 in my 2017 iMac, and getting perfectly serviceable frame rates at 1440p, with the graphics settings set to whatever MW5 thought was appropriate for my hardware. If you're seeing huge performance hits or instability with hardware so much better than that, I suspect you've either got the graphics settings turned up too high somewhere, or you're looking at a driver or a game corruption issue, either of which would best be solved by reinstalling the bits in question.
I say 'until two weeks ago', because that's when I finished my new gaming rig build, which has a 4070Ti, and with that I can literally run with absolutely everything cranked up all the way, and never see less than 60 FPS. (That's the limit of my monitor, so I run with V-Sync enabled.)
I have experienced this same issue as well using RTX 2060.
Thank you
