It is a gameplay overhaul that I see in most playtroughs on youtube, but in these playtroughs the content creators usually have tons of other mods stacked with it. So far I have gathered that it changes the hardpoint system for weapons and the outfitting of mechs. IE; There are no small/medium/large energy weapon slots, just 'Energy slots' and you can use any weaponsize on them. for some reason units like tanks and Vtols have their health tripled as well. You suddenly have the option to swap out engines in mechs etc, it's a bit overwhelming for a new player like me
So YAML combine with better pilot system, clan weapons, more mission types are what people normally install on modded games. There are a few guide on Youtube for this.
