TTrulez ai
just fyi TTrulez ai mod, is now on nexus

One of the many i have been waiting for. On the old epic version it was a real game changer and must have for me, hopefully it is the same now still.

Certainly a buff for the moronic ai

Edit: its in the workshop too

Excellent work Sterling. If Woodhouse wasn't dead, I'd have him make you a drink.

Awesome! Thank you for sharing. It didn't show up for me until I did a search for it.

I was literally just looking at the nexus and it appeared, like 3 minutes ago.

i think i might try it but its a double edged sword for me. it says the ai is no longer terrible shots also the enemy ai will try their hardest to flank you and stay out of range or rush you. new to the series so i will see if i keep it on.

Elite pilots now have elite accuracy (before all I had the same chance to hit).
What does the author mean when he says Elite Pilots. Did I miss something? Or does he simply mean 60s?

So when you lock onto a mech/vehicle/building a red lock on square pops up around the target. On the bottom right of that square there is a pilot rank green/rookie/veteran etc.

That quote is from under the Lancemate AI header though.
And you can't target your friendlies the same way as enemies afaik.
And even if you could, I'd complain about why this wouldn't show in the Roster list then.
I know about the Enemy AI having these classifications. But like I said, this was listed under the featureset for our braindead fellow Lancemates.
Hence why I was asking if he's just calling 60 Skill Pilots, Elites.

Unless ofc this something newly added by the mod. I didn't try it yet. The way he mentions it though, makes it sound like this would've been already present on our Lancemates.

I was just pointing something out. No need to get defensive over what I posted. My post wasn't aimed at trying to prove a point or start something with you. If you want it gone just say something to me and I can make it "poof" after all posters can delete their own comments in threads.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Chillax. Wasn't meant to come off as defensive or anything, but rather just explaining myself as to why I formulated the question.
I appreciate the gesture of wanting to help me out.
And no, no need to remove that either. Might actually be interesting for someone who doesn't know about classifications of the enemy AI when targeting them.

The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

This is an absurd amount of projection

Actually there is a hotkey to target your friendlies. I think it's q but not sure. Also not sure if it will give you the same Experience descriptor for friendlies it does for enemies.
pRaX Jun 13, 2021 @ 8:43pm
Yes. It's Q by default. It's what I did use in the screenshot. It's different though from the enemy targeting in regards to what info it shows.

i do wonder now. cuz it seems like some of my pilots generally do better then others no matter what mech i put them in. and if they do also have a rating. that 100% should be a viewable

I asked the author and his answer was... weird. From what I understood from his somewhat cryptic'ly written reply, he simpy meant leveled up Pilots when he wrote Elite Pilots.

And yes! I observe this illogical inconsistency aswell all the time. This is actually why I asked about this. It made me think that there is some hidden traits or something along those lines. Due to a strong confirmation bias to make sense of their stupidity, I actually hoped for a different answer that would confirm my thoughts.
