So when you lock onto a mech/vehicle/building a red lock on square pops up around the target. On the bottom right of that square there is a pilot rank green/rookie/veteran etc.
And you can't target your friendlies the same way as enemies afaik.
And even if you could, I'd complain about why this wouldn't show in the Roster list then.
I know about the Enemy AI having these classifications. But like I said, this was listed under the featureset for our braindead fellow Lancemates.
Hence why I was asking if he's just calling 60 Skill Pilots, Elites.

Unless ofc this something newly added by the mod. I didn't try it yet. The way he mentions it though, makes it sound like this would've been already present on our Lancemates.
I appreciate the gesture of wanting to help me out.
And no, no need to remove that either. Might actually be interesting for someone who doesn't know about classifications of the enemy AI when targeting them.
Actually there is a hotkey to target your friendlies. I think it's q but not sure. Also not sure if it will give you the same Experience descriptor for friendlies it does for enemies.
And yes! I observe this illogical inconsistency aswell all the time. This is actually why I asked about this. It made me think that there is some hidden traits or something along those lines. Due to a strong confirmation bias to make sense of their stupidity, I actually hoped for a different answer that would confirm my thoughts.
*sobs* i miss his dead little eyes so much. He was so good at eating spider webs.
