Solaris Showdown Caused My Mechwarrior5 games to crash

I am bewildered. I installed Solaris Showdown a few days ago, and then my Mechwarrior 5 games started to crash.

My laptop is more than good enough with RTX 4060 graphic card, and an I7 chip.

I dont get it.

It crashes from all my Solaris Games and then all my other saved Mechwarrior 5 games too.

I need some help.

Aha, another victim of the bad RTX implementation in MW5M.

Go into your graphics settings, turn off all the RTX stuff. Ideally the DLSS too.

I find post like this quite humorous.

It's not a matter of your... "awesome" computer specs.

I run a computer, an 8th generation Intel cpu, 2070 super rtx Nvidia gpu and I can run this game on maximum settings with a 85 fps, drops to about low 70's during heavy fire fights.

It's not of matter of how big your "gizmo" is... it's how you use it.

Also. As the previous poster said, the dlss and ray tracing in this game is pure and utter garbage, and how the developers can pat themselves on the back saying it "works" is a straight slap in the face.

If these dudes were given an actual job where they had to pick up a shovel and move dirt more then 5ft. They would crumple and waste away like the poor excuse of a game company they are.

Anyways... learn how to use your hardware before you use it. My old rig would blow yours out of the metaphorical water.

Also posting the error codes would help us more intuitive people on how to fix your problem.

i have a rtx 3050 runs all my games fine with tracing but not this one. It looks like a doom game from nintendo 64.

That's because its ♥♥♥♥♥♥, has been since launch, still is today and dlss is not much better for this title. PGI should outright remove the options.

Even my friend who owns a i7 something or other ( better than mine ) and he asked me how i got it to look so good lol..i said " turn of ray tracing " and it now it looks better than mine lol so sad for me.
