If you really want to experience it w/o starting over, you could do a NG+ importing your current save. You'd keep all your C-bills, 'mechs, pilots, inventory, cantina upgrade progress.. basically, letting you reset the clock to an earlier year.
Or if you want to start over but not feel any time pressure for accepting the DLC mini-campaigns (since they'll all expire if you ignore them for too long after they become available), there is a mod that effectively removes the end dates for those "priority transmissions" so they'll stick around until you start them.
There is also a mod that extends out the timelines so you can play it whenever you want, that also works.
The first option will make some mission based unique mechs available again like the hero KCG's.
Kinda. If you have Heroes of the Inner Sphere DLC, you select career mode, and it gives you the option of importing your old game. You won't get the campaign missions because they're not in career mode, but you'll get everything else (including the other special missions).
IF you get the DLC do you get to go fight in the arena and become champion or is it just the story line missions?
I shot him several times...... he wouldnt stfu lol.
But yeah this has been overall fun and very sinple dlc, i wish they ran it more like some of the others where there were full circuits based on weight class, but we cant always get what we wat, and it was fun, no regrets.
