Objective Raids and smilar
Is there any way to reign this missions in on higher difficulty number? Especially on Small maps I have started to simply set the accuracy of enemies to lower, just because it is nonsense to be forced to run ultra-light to not take too long for the mission while under heavy veterans-skill fire (especially those tiny urban maps) by multiple lances.
There are simply too many way too accurate enemies, it just feels way out of balance...

Probably some tactics would be helpful like setting a firing line and luring foes one by one. Or just order your mates to not be lured one by one into a "vespiary"

Here is the mod to do that

I found it during rage quit break after the events from above.
It helped me alot, in the end of those Raid I had an Orion with only LPL and Rifleman with 4*ML, both cored af.
I've sent away the Rifleman and kited with LPL two ac-20 Urban mechs. Then I've used best poking practices from MWO to kill last tanks and turrets from cover.
That was very memorable fight.

Depends on how fast you are rushing the higher difficulty missions. Raising your pilot skills up like evasion and defense help with mitigating this quite a bit, get better pilots with max skill caps, and just overall be more situation aware of your surroundings. A mech caught out in the open is a dead mech.

I start a mission next to an objective and in range of another one, so in the first minute I am under fire of 8+ mechs, while 15 seconds in a Vtol Formation + multiple Igors joints in. No matter my skills (all at 10), if I run solo I get cored by either being to slow or too lightly armored, if I bring ai lancemates, even in assaults they can't stand to wither the storm without taking more damage than the mission is worth in payout.

I simply think those missions need to lower the spawns, drastically, at the very least when objectives are close by another or the map is tiny, especially then it makes 0 sense to just put the amount of enemies designed to fill a vast map into 9km². If the Spawns are bound to the objective, then I would argue there just isn't room for multiple objectives in such a tiny space.

I know, it's rage ranting, but only a complete lack of talent for game design explains why the amount of objectives does not scale with map size.

Objective Raid + Megacity biome in particular (but very small maps in general) was notorious for having lots of simultaneous spawns c/o short ranges and the spawns continuing until you complete all objectives.

i would suggest you do those with friends maybe the tougher missions are much better with friends

The enemy spawns were utter crap in this game not sure what they were thinking constantly landing a wave of mechs at you at the start of a mission when you did those merc hunt scenarios.

Same one which added the "Megacity" biome.
