NOT MULTIPLAYER???

I bought this thinking it was definitely multiplayer PVP. Co-op is not the same thing. This game would be making millions if it was multiplayer...

please point to the thing anywhere on the store page that implies there is pvp. also no it would not be making significantly more as a pvp game because mechwarrior online already exists, is made by the same developers, and has more content and balances things differently to actually work as a pvp game. please do the bare minimum research before buying a video game rather than buying it and then ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on the steam forums that it's not the game it never pretended to be.

They haven't always been this way. There was a decent community for PVP MW4.

This game is made with Unreal Engine 4. I'm not playing PvP on it, period. Even CryEngine is better than UE4 for PvP, which is probably why so many people prefer Mechwarrior Online instead.

I don't see how one could make this mistake unless they impulse-bought the game after doing zero research. A single video summary of the game on YouTube would have informed you the game is co-op only.

When MW5 came out, it wasn't clear there is no PvP. I was even worried and jealous that it will replace my MWO as online mech shooter.

even if this is true MW5 came out in December 2019. it's been 4 and a half years. the information is out there by now.
