Third person FOV available for all missions?

Hello. I want to buy the game and DLC bundle, and want to make sure I'm not stuck with a cockpit view. Can you switch for all missions? I saw some game play that showed third person, but want to make sure a MOD isn't needed. Thank you for any help.

Also, thoughts on the current state of the game? Still worth playing with all DLC in 2024?

I figured for $30, might as well pick up the bundle for a rainy day.

Yes, it's a default feature, can turn on/off anytime.

Though the feature's more of a drone that follows your mech so you have a skewed perspective using it and at least in MWO was visible so people could see if someone was using cockpit mode or drone mode.

Considering the rate of change, does the drone just stay out and then stop moving for the tell? BTU head, but I've avoided MWO.

You would get the answer from someone who played MWO, I just know MWO had it from a friend who did play it a long time ago.

If getting around the Leopard is a mission, you're out of luck. It's forced first person perspective there. ;)

I use maximum 120% fov and just enjoy whole cockpit view.
It is so cool. I put some mods also for effects and some balance.
Game becamo much much better.
Oh, and don't forget to use Thermal Vision mod. Must have))

It's a matter of preference on the matter which mode is used by which player.
