With mods: Yes, BUT
All the mods must be synced. Same mods, same versions. Preferably the same load order even. The best way to do this is with a mod loader, the most popular being MW5 LOM. That way you can just export everything as a text file to pass around.
Quoting for visibility, and because the more I learn about MW5 LOM... yeah, people should use MW5MO instead.
I've gone through an entire coop campaign with story DLCs. One person is on Epic. Not a single crash amongst us. Game worked a charm.
Very light mod load, mind you: simple zoom, cutscene remover, helicopter spawn reducer. Nothing more.
If so, do both users need to do it?
