How do I get pilots!?

I've done 10 jumps. Some to catinas, some to black markets, some to orange colored stars. Some in war zones some not in war zones. I literally not find a single merc to hire anywhere and one of mine got killed

Most of the industrial hubs have pilots for hire. If you rely on the ones you get as a "reward" you're never going to have a full lance.

This makes me wish people play the campaign first before jumping into Career mode, or at the very least LISTEN to Ryana when she speaks to you directly on the ship.
