MechWarrior 5 is the first game to support the Epic Games Mod Manager. It can be accessed through the Epic Games Library by clicking on the three dots next to MechWarrior 5 Mercenaries and clicking on Explore Mods. On the Steam client mods can be found in the Workshop tab of the MechWarrior 5 Community Hub.

Most people that use epic use nexus mods and install them manually.

Have not been able to update YAML on Epic since July. It's just stuck, cant do anything - update, remove, change.
My question about it on epic discussions was just deleted without any response.

So no, don't use Epic Mods.

Here's how that meeting likely even went because chances are it's what did actually happen.
PGI rep- "Hey you guys going to fix that issue with your platform when mods get stuck?"
Epic CEO- Here's X amount of money to shut the ♥♥♥♥ up and walk away!"
