it's the Guerilla (BL-G-KNT), it might be exclusive to the Yet Another Mechlab mod, but yeah, it has a uAC/5 in each arm.
other than that.. there is the Cataphract. Two variants have 4 and 3 ballistic slots.
the Widowmaker Warhammer has 4 ballistic slots in the torso.
And yeah, I have a bevy of mods. Huge attraction of this game on this platform; it's like 3 games in one. Or more.
Because ACs outperform all laser weaponry in dps (LPL does 2.5 dps to an ac/5’s 3.33), you don’t need as many to get the show going.
Try the hero caraphract in instant action with 3xac/5bfs and 2 mpls and watch how quickly you can tear apart mechs. Or try the hero king crab with 4xlbx10-slds
Of course, it's a pretty terrible mech with paper armor so ....
A hero Roflman from a mission can have 2 gauss/AC20, but then again you won't be able to deal with heat and have space for ammo.
Hero Cataphract have 3 medium ballistic slots, two in arms and one in torso, so if you lock arms, you can pretty much core anything with 3 heavy rifles, turning it into a great sniper mech, although you'll be overheating and ammo generally is a problem with heavy rifles.
My favourite ballistic mech is hero Victor from Davion mission chain with two rifles packed in it's arm, with a pair of MP lasers to deal with smaller targets. It can cockpit snipe anything out there, with rifles having projectile speed proportional to caliber, unlike with regular ACs that have inverse proportions, it's pretty easy. I wish there were statistics just how many cockpits I have destroyed with that thing, including sniping two Asslases on assassination missions and pretty much every mech in X marks the spot final missions where you get the Corsair.
Speaking of, it can have two gauss rifles and two lasers, making it slow, but very potent sniper.
A quickdraw, as someone said before, but somehow it's so flimsy and eats up every shot sent your way. I had to restart 4 times one of the missions from a Marik chain, where their son got lost, but tbh I was going 60 tons under the limit and had generic non-meta lancemates at that moment.
Annihilators are worth mentioning, but I don't like their abysmal speed, huge hitbox and two ballistic slots on torso, which makes one of them always miss/hit an arm, since they don't converge like arms do.
King crab with 2 big slots in arms is a decent gauss platrofm, but they lack advanced tech like double heatsinks, endo steel chassi, ferro fibrous armor kit or XL engine, making it hard to put anything else on them.
Cyclops 11-P is an interesting baller too, since it has two medium slots arranged vertically, so you can actually aim for CT with it, unlike hero Cyclops, which has the same issue as Annihilators. Not using it myself, but my jabronies are unexpectedly good with it. They spawn very late, but you can salvage it during Hazing the weak chain for hero Orion (I would recommend taking Stalker 3-FB though if you get the option there/want to reload for it, since it's the best LRM platform in the game. Or you could grind your Liao rep to +5 and work both mechs properly by stripping them of both torsos and one leg and then sniping them, and you will have enough shares to get both).
Also there is an interesting Mauler during Dragon's Gambit chain, MX90-S. You can put 6 light rifles on it's torsoes, making it a viable baller too. Although since it's a trench digger just like other twin torso mechs, you'll have to split your sides into two fire groups and fire broadsides sequentially, like a derpy 18 century battleship.
Here are some builds that I use. Mind you, pretty much every single one of them rely on -5% heat generation upgrade and most require +5% heat dissipation as well.
