Devs: NO MORE POP UP TURRETS
NO one enjoys the pop up turret mechanic. No one. Not now, not ever. Please find the person that (no doubt) worked very hard on them, hand him a pipe wrench, and give him 15 minutes alone with the guy that made him program them.

Like... how the HELL was this ever considered a good idea?

I hate it at long range. I am always like is that tank behind something or is it again one of those damn turrets which are indestructible until they pop up it's stupid. At the very least give them a different icon.

It is literally the first time I hear someone complain about pop-up turrets. I don't get it. They are fine.

Idk if it's my mods but some maps have like 30 of them.. It's also so weird they pop up so close. You would think the turret would have some range.

I would like to know does the enemy just spawn out of thin air because they disappear from my scanner and then reappear behind me. Or, that's how it feels.

You can kill them when they are hidden, shoot the base with a pair of ppcs and they will pop.

using Uac/5 and spamming shot on them does nothing at all.

problem with that ♥♥♥♥ game 'feature' is the icons are too high regardless on where you aim at them or with/without zoom , and a fact about those turrets/gameplay mechanic is that they have a slight moment of being immune to all dmg ( not melee ) when you discover them i.e your whatever radar range ( los and with/without bap ) happens to pass over then when your mech is moving towards any point where they have a spawn location..


pretty interesting game mechanic but the implementation is utter bs.

I thought that in this game everyone already almost knows at what generation of the map where the turrets are located, so as not to perceive them as a threat. Seriously. They "cause problems" only in the early stages of the game. ._.
In all other cases, you either kill them before full activation, or do it while turning the body towards another target.

Turrets are fine. They give you something to shoot while you are taking a long walk through an assassination mission.

Well the A.I seems rather competent when using the Howizter weapons in Unification to some degree, so the turrets would probably have similar level to mechs.

Its very lore friendly. Also if you don't like it just kill turret generators before the fight starts
