Cantina jobs

In one of my ~ten runs of this game, I remember getting a Cantina job that got me something like 4-8 S-tier Medium Lasers as the payoff. That only appeared in maybe a game or two out of the ~ten I've done. But I also noticed that the rewards for Cantina missions are often repeats of each other within a given game run. That is, if I start a new Career, It feels like the game randomizes all of the Cantina job rewards up front and then just uses that for the rest of that run of the game. So I think it might be possible that if I haven't seen "get 4 S-tier Medium Lasers" as a reward in the current run by now, it's likely that it will never come up.

On the other hand, patches and so forth may have eliminated that as a possibility altogether for all I know. Does anyone know what the real deal is with this?

sorry for the late reply, I decided to do some serious a$$ kicking, got near a campaign, thus far, no cantina jobs, so as to upgrade my stuff....target of opportunity (after Allerton)....I even got myself an Awesome, which turned out its "not so Awesome" (3 ppc's, like mechcommander) I'd hate to think this game got a super update like Halo MCC did (not that good at shooting my way through a game with no trainer, was hoping to knock out more achievements on Halo MCC)
