Last I checked, which admittedly was a while ago, YAML had options to retain mech loadouts but it didn't support keeping Cantina upgrades.
Basically I only upgrade Mechs that stay in the active bay, and move in and out of cold storage others that I don't upgrade and I use when I need them (mostly mediums).
It broke with DLC4.
Currently since we can have 40 mechs it is less of an issue but it would be handy to have again.
While i do t really need it as much now that i can have 40 but still it was good to have.
As was said above - there are mods (are they up to date?) but this whole cold storage blunder was PGI's attempt having a way to store extra mechs without openly going against canon..... ???
The correct solution would be something like was done in Battletech PC game or just have a larger dropship, or some form of home base.
