Other way around for me, keep finding the 5A and not the 4A

I usually find then as a "Rare Mech on Market" I find them all over in high level industrial zones

What are the hardpoints on the 5A is it worth? can you still poptart with a 100 ton mech, cause i won't look for it if it doesn't have jump jets and head PPC

If going by MWO it should be able to pack 9 separate missile hardpoints!

The only difference is the mount on the roof is a Medium Ballistic

Might explain it. iirc the 5A doesn't show up till at least 3049. Unless players found them earlier than that well I would like to know.

I found a 5A in my current career mode play though at around 3025, I thought it was really strange one was in the shop.
AANNND, We can thank my crazy friend who seems to screenshot EVERYTHING, here said mech with a date, 31 Oct 3028, long before it meant to be found

Keep an eye on the news feed, once it stats Wolfs Dragoons have built them you can start finding them.

Yeah, it's possible to find mechs far earlier than their production or reintroduction date. It's just not a common occurrence, by any means.

That's a picture of a 4A not a 5A though? The 4A should appear when you start in 3015 technically.

Still, be useful if there was a sort of spawning table to look at that shows where every Mech should appear when and where.

Yeah there's quite a few Mechs that were given downgraded models available earlier than the main version. Wolfhound is a good example of this. Come to think of it virtually every IS Mech in TRO 3050 got this treatment.
