I must have missed the part that told me what colors meant what on that thing. Which factions control what color and such would be rather handy. Is there a cheat-sheet for that information, or is it one of those obscure lore things that you have to have played TT for 3 decades to decode?

Yellow is Davion, Blue is Steiner, Green is Liao, Purple is House Marik, Red is Kurita, Teal when it appears is the Rasalhague Republic.

You don't really need to know the lore or TableTop to learn this info. If you start a new game in career mode, you can pick which house to start with and it will show the starting point on the star map.

Obscure? They show the whole of the Inner Sphere, complete with matching color coded divisions, in the opening cinematic.

But also, the primary color of their Great House insignia matches their territory color. What is the territory color of the dudes with the red dragon insignia? Red. That's House Kurita and the Draconis Combine.

Blue gauntlet? Lyran Commonwealth (House Steiner)

Green sword? Capellan Confederation (House Liao)

Yellow sword and starburst? Federated Suns (House Davion)

Purple eagle? Free Worlds League (House Marik)

Teal snake? Free Rasalhague Republic

I mean...you just look. It isn't a secret or anything. You can see what factions are where....
