It's due to the netcode. The netcode is so bad it has people think everyone is cheating since they get shot behind walls, through walls, by people they can't see, get killed in a single bullet, etc. None of this is related to cheating, however, but rather to the horrendously bad netcode. And since Wiple seem wholly incapable of fixing the netcode, this game will never go anywhere.

There's little reason not to jump around every corner, so some players do that and of course catch people off guard plenty of times.

There are hackers in every game and there are a few here, no one is saying game is 100% clean. But what you are saying here is directly what we've been saying: it's the netcode. People whip around corners and abuse the netcode to get some of the most insane peekers advantage you'll ever see. Most of the time you see this the person saw you already but the servers are so terrible the desync gets to the point where it seems like they killed you when still before the corner or as if they wall, but in reality the game's netcode is just that trashy.

The most important need of the game will be not to be hacked. That should be the first priority. The vast majority of users are using this and similar hack packages. Game makers are sleeping. They don't care if the game hurts. I think the game is standing with a few rich kids and father's money. A game whose shell is about to break.

Game could be really great if the devs would focus on fixing stuff instead of adding more cosmetics that you have a 2% of getting out of crates. Shame to see the path this game is taking too, used to really love it before the steam release.

To be fair, most lvl 200 players and up suck balls at the game.

The main reason that this game with huge amount of potential is going lower and lower with player-activity is basically the following.

- The netcode is terrible since release and not updated at all.
- There are a lot of hackers nowadays (in each game ofcourse) but the ACS doesn't work properly.
- The community in general is a bit toxic and there is hardly any communication going on. This also counts for the developers.
- No updates that fixes a lot of bugs, glitches, still the same maps and weapons.

In general, since release there were hundreds of people suggesting amazing things to improve Ironsight, even me as I'm a Ironsight player since their release. There is no communication going on, nothing is being implemented of what the community wants and it's just lacking development progress.

Many many people want this game to be more developed. Developers listening to their fans feedback. Implemented the things we want, they have enough funds due all these packages 'n such. I love this game, I really do and it has great potential. But right now, from my experience and my group who used to play this game.. It's not worth it.
