About the Doom slayers new armor in Dark Ages

Since this is eons before Doom 2016 does that mean the armor we see in the trailer is the og praetor suit made by The Wretch? All this time everyone assumed the suit in 2016 was the suit made by The Wretch but if Doomguy already has a praetor suit during the dark ages then maybe the 2016 suit was an upgrade made by the slayer like in Doom Eternal? Or maybe its not a praetor suit at all and just looks like one which could mean we'd get our health and ammo from pickups like in the classic games. Ig we'll just have to wait and see.

The armor the Slayer wears in the trailer looks to be sentinel design, not Praetor suit. It's possible we could meet the Wretch in Dark Ages.

I don't know. All I know is that Doomguy's armor in The Dark Ages is the coolest he's ever looked, in my opinion. Such an awesome design.

I thought it was the basic praetor suit, at least to a very large margin. The one shown in the new Dark Ages trailer I mean. Aside from a fur pelt cape, it looked like it had minimal differences from the one in the last two games. I'll have to take another look I guess.

Oh, one thing I noticed in the Fortress in Eternal - if you find doomguys quarters you'll see what is akin to a praetor suit parts on his workshop desk with it taken apart. It wouldn't be too farfetched for doomguy to have knowledge of the suit and how to fix/upgrade/ect it. It seems like he's already got some knowledge of it's design by the beginning of Eternal.

Yeah, I noticed the disassembled 2016 Praetor armor in Doomguy's 'lounge' in the Fortress of Doom. Very cool.

Side-note: It's not explicitly stated in the lore, but Doomguy/Slayer is supposed to be an extremely intelligent person, in addition to being an absolute beast of a warrior. He's basically an extremely skilled engineer as well. Very smart dude.

I can't wait to play Dark Ages. I hope there's tons of unlockable content, just like Eternal. Skins/outfits; profile icons; etc.
