Stuck on The Ancient Gods 2 fight with the 2 Marauders

I am playing the game on its lowest difficulty setting (Yes, I suck at this game! ;p) ) and I cannot even kill ONE of these damn marauders! I think I am supposed to avoid killing the Screecher demon, but when they are purple, they all look alike to me! lol Does anybody have any tips???

If all demons are purple then you have already killed a Screecher - bad news for you. Normally only the Screechers are purple and that fight contains only 2 of them, though it is possible that they respawn upon killed. Only kill Zombies that are not purple and you will just be fine. Also when you take down the first Marauder a Baron will spawn - be ready for it.

Don't use any form of splash damage - including Blood Punch and Frag Grenade.

Don't use splash damage mindlessly if you can help it, or at least get as far away from the screechers as possible so that the Brusier Brothers don't turn Super Saiyan and introduce you to Immora's loading screen. 2 marauders is not a biggie usually, but when they are suddenly buffed your brain might not react in time to adjust to the speed.

Before the fight - make sure you have a hammer charge. This allows you to quickly eliminate one of them right after they spawn (or atleast heavily damage him), then grab the hammer pickup in that arena, try to split marauders apart a bit by running on the edges of the arena. If you hit a screecher - use the monkey bars around the arena to move around + meathook till the buff goes away. The rest of your hammer refills can be easily done by weakening the surrounding fodder with a plasma rifle. This should give you enough health and time to deal with them and the baron.

to OP :
basically this before going into the fight have a hammer

run towards the first one to spawn as soon as he flashes hit em then hammer u should be able to kill him before the 2nd one reaches u

if u fail u can just reload a check point if not then ur gonna have to take one out at a time and it could be lengthy

I will keep trying and watch that video again, but I just cannot believe this part of this game is that difficult on its lowest level. Maybe practice Marauder fight on ARC Complex and Taras Nabad first. ARC Complex: final battle. Taras Nabad: first battle and second Secret Encounter. The level contains an other Marauder where you acquire the Crucible handle, I don't recommend that to practice Marauger fights since he is accompanied by 5 heavies there. BFG inducing on Nightmare for sure.

if you got this far its really nothing to it did u not do TAG 1? the double marauder fight in the first level is pritty much the same actually easier because of the use of the hammer.

If you haven't done TAG 1 then i suggest learning the marauder mechanics because if your stuck here your gonna hate the last boss fight huge.

If the screeches activate, you can swing between the monkey bars above indefinitely until the buff wears off. The marauders will have a hard time hitting you with ranged attacks.

Learn how to fight marauders first, like others said. Two of them with screechers are too much if you don't know how to handle them in the first place. You might have got away with fighting them badly because of your difficulty level, but it's better for you if you learn how to do it properly. There are tutorials for this.

I finally got through it! I watched the video again, and just kept moving in a circle on and off the two ledges on the side. I killed only one of the marauders though. After I got the baron, the other one along with the rest of the demons just vanished!

You are correct! I am at the last boss fight now. I got through the first part of it, but am having some issues with the second . I have just decided to stop the game here for the time being as there is no way I am going to finish it. I watched a video of the end fight and the person that did it took 25 minutes to defeat the boss. I am not sure how skilled this player is or what difficulty level they had the game set on. I cannot play the game for that long at one sitting and to be honest, the fight is repetitive and a bit boring. Maybe we will see a TAG part 3!

wait until you get past that part and right on to the next. Fighting the Dark Lord, you'll walk away forever on that one. Boss health regain instantly kills the fight and lore. soon as you land 1 bullet its instant full health on the boss. Have fun starting the fight over counltless times even when not dying. That health regain i'll tell ya. ID thought deep on that one......
