what mouse dpi do you guys play at

I've beaten this on ultra nightmare, the dlc on ultra nightmare, and i cleared the gore nest master levels 10 challenges, best dpi I've found for it is 4800, I used to use 6000 but i realised headshots were impossible with that so i put it down a little

900.. the only way you could use 1000s is if your mouse scaling is waaaay too low.

Also make sure the windows mouse sensitivity is in the exact middle.

its all set correctly, I play with 4800 dpi, and in game mouse sensitivity is set to 6.9, I've found that in doom eternal, for me atleast 4800 seems to allow for the quickest movments while also allowing me to get mostly consistant headshots.

At that sens and DPI you're basically doing 360's whenever you breathe on your mouse so i have no idea how you can play like that.

i thought everyone played similarly, appearently most people have to move their entire forearm to do anything on their pc, how do people function with a dpi 12x slower than what i use

If you look at pro play in any modern competitive shooter (many websites for this) you can see most players use a dpi setting under 1k. This allows the players to train for ultimate precision as they already have all the speed they need with a lightweight and high quality sensor. Rocket Jump Ninja on Youtube has great videos on this topic with hundreds of mouses tested.
