My thoughts on the game is that it has very nice graphics, and I love the HDR support.
For the game play, this not Doom. They changed it too much and not in a good way. It really is a 1st person perspective platforming game.
Prior to 2016, they had issues getting the original Doom feel right and yet somehow they managed to get off track and screw it up again with Eternal.
As for all the HR positive diversity stuff the OP is spewing, not sure. Moreover, don't care. However, some of the points he makes about the game are correct.
Lastly, playing this game made me want to reinstall 2016. I will be playing through 2016 again, soon.
***Note: Some people will defend any game they purchase, just because. I think that's the most accurate explanation for anyone who defends this game. Nothing more.
I see it all the time. People buy a game and because they spent money, defend it. Nothing more. No substance. They don't want to admit a mistake when they spent money.
