Gonna pick up the main game, but are DLCs worth it?

Definitely worth it, it's almost as much gameplay as the full game. I think complaints are about the boss. It's kind of dumb. But the rest of it is great.

They probably only have bad reviews because people complain about the difficulty. Yeah they crank everything up and sometimes it might feel unfair (playing on Nightmare and Ultra-Nightmare) but it's worth it.

The first DLC is peak. The second DLC was rushed, so the end boss is bad, but the rest is still lots of fun, the encounters are challenging but you have a powerful new tool (Hammer).

TAG1 is the best content in Doom Eternal.

TAG2... not so much. But still worth playing.

Base game is more than enough. I wouldn't waste money on TAGs.
