I strongly recommend using mouse and keyboard!
You know, I never thought about that before, but your comment made me re-evaluate my choice to use a controller. Thank you for your service.
I think they were sarcastic. But seriously, while I prefer mouse and keyboard, there are insanely good controller players of this game out there. There's controller quick swaps for example, the other one's named Buckio I think and then there is the guy SMVR (or similar) who does insane stuff in many games including this one.
I think the main reason this game is better with mkb isn't aiming, some people are very good aimers with a controller, but the many keys for keybinds. But even that doesn't hinder the guys I mentioned from excelling. You don't even see the weapon wheel when they are swapping weapons, they are just that fast.
That may be true, but even a fairly good player with mouse and keyboard will always win vs a gamepad player in online gaming when there is no aim help/lock. Or have you ever seen a "pro gamer" in CS or Quake etc. playing with a gamepad?
Take a look at this guy:

All right. But is it possible that you fear the possibility that he might be better than you with his lousy (pro) controller?
If you don't know what could be causing controller issues, it's perfectly acceptable to ignore my post, but I don't need a lecture on my choice of input devices.
Yeah, SmvR is insanely good with a controller.

And @op, sorry for spamming your thread with off-topic
No worries. It's a pretty specific issue and I doubt many people are going to run into it. I've had better luck getting results on other forums anyway.
