Weird, I got a small performance increase since I updated.

+1
I don't regret installing Windows 11 pro. I shan't roll back to Windows 10.

I upgraded my test system from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Doom Eternal runs fine on Windows 11; there is no discernible difference in performance.

For everyone saying it works for you, why not also mention card and driver versions? Perhaps there is a particular driver that isn't working?
Could also be related to platform. Cpu/motherboard/bios, etc.

not to say that win11 isn't "faster" or "better"

but the performance boost could simply be attributed to the "new" windows installation

While it should work you should've known what you're getting yourself into being an early adopter of notoriously broken software.

Works for me. Running Windows 11 Pro on Asus z370 motherboard, i7-8700K, 32 GB RAM, RTX 2070 Super. Driver is 496.49.

Getting 120-140 fps with RTX on and Quality DLSS, with occasional dips into 90-110 range during heavy combat. Resolution is 1440p with HDR on.

This is identical to the performance of the system when it was running Windows 10 Pro.

I never recommend upgrading to a new OS until many months after launch or until the first major update to it. Otherwise you are a beta-tester and generally have to deal with all the bugs.

I highly doubt you got a performance boost to windows 11. MS is just trying to push their supposely new OS, which looks exactly the same as Windows 10. Its a scam.

Wish it wasn't, then it maybe would've been actually usable.
