Can't stream DOOM Eternal on discord. Please help me out.

My friend wanted to watch me play and be bad at DOOM eternal on discord. The problem is, every time I stream it, the screen is black and I can't seem to stream it at all. The audio is fine but the screen isn't. Please help me out.

Change the software, some software cannot record the vulkan screen.

Yes...wait for the answer or find "discord recording only sound" on the Internet to see if there is a solution or mod that can make discord record successfully.

vulkan games have issues with recording overlays

Yeah most recording software hate Vulkan. The one I use called Action Mirillis works well with Vulkan though, however not free.

Attempt with Present From Compute off- back when I was streaming Eternal on Discord, my PC would reset if I had that setting on & tried to stream.

Might not solve this of course, but that possibility is to be expected.

its a discord issue, not DOOM.
Had that issue with NieR, NieR Automata and yakuza.

I re-joined the call till it worked.

Its neither. Its Vulkan being not standardized in some ways.

It's something to do with Vulcan API

I've both streamed and watched Doom Eternal via Discord multiple times at release and up to very recently. The key moment was to switch to borderless windowed mode, otherwise it refused to work.
