No sense in making sense man. It's a new generation who just can't get it and I don't blame them. For those who were there, upgrading rigs every few months to play these games, doing all the tweaks, overclocks, pencil modding and dip-switching to get even one more frame...a bygone era of gaming rising with the foundational tech upon which games are now played. It was a blast and I feel privileged to have been part of it, but it's like trying to show a teenager an early cell phone...ain't gonna fly. They weren't there and we aren't either anymore. But yeah, playing Unreal on my 16MB Riva TNT...fun times.
Doom was a great game and on its own merits, it remains so. In comparison with modern titles of course it struggles and as such, there is no sense in doing so.
Unlikely, considering they sound like a minor. They probably played the Unity port. Zooooooom
