Online Alert That Interrupts Gameplay

So, my internet is not great. My computer tower is located on my right, at my legs, and my router is several rooms to my left. Everytime I have to do something that requires being online for long periods of time, I have to move it out so that I'm not blocking the signal.

This is a problem with DOOM Eternal, because while I'm playing, I'm periodically disconnecting and connecting to the internet in the background. Whenever I reconnect, the game suddenly pauses to tell me I'm offline.
If there's no way to stop these alerts, that's really disappointing, and reinforces my belief that these big companies care way too much about the multiplayer and try to push it onto people like me who just play for the singleplayer. Red Dead Redemption 2 has this issue as well, where you can't even play unless you launch it while connected to the internet. But at least that game didn't stop the entire game with this big alert that I don't care about - they just put it in a corner.

This is just bad game design on Bethesda's part. DOOM Eternal so heavily relies on the flow of gameplay, and this choice just halts the gameplay to tell me that I'm offline... while playing a singleplayer campaign. It's ridiculous. And there's no way to turn it off. They just try so hard to shove their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ online stuff onto me. It's bad enough I have to make an account to play their game, but this type of ♥♥♥♥ is egregious.

You could always buy a router booster or move your equipment. Also, I believe you can play offline?

You can block Doom Eternal from accessing online. You’ll get one notice when starting the game but no interruptions.

Might interfere with challenges if you still have stuff you want to unlock.
