How do you replay a level?

So, I've completed the campaign and I want to go back because I missed a few special kills.
From what I gathered, it should be possible.
However, I can't figure out how to replay a level.
UAC terminal repeats the same message.
Master levels terminal says I don't own any master levels.
The terminal opposite is dead.
The teleporter button is dead.
I'd appreciate some guidance.

select your save slot and then click on "mission select"

Did you play on extra life mode by chance? That mode doesn't let you select previous levels.

If not then refer to the above.

Yes, I played Extra Life. on Nightmare. Thanks!
It's stupid though - I've beaten the game - it should go back to normal Nightmare mode.
That's modern game design for you, lol

Likely has to do with preventing the player from going back and farming lives endlessly...but if someone beats then game then that shouldn't matter IMO.

You can't go back to previous missions in Extra-life mode to prevent players from just farming extra-lives in other levels. If players can just farm extra-lives then the challenge for that mode will be reduced. So that's not a stupid design.
