Blood Swamp BOSS on Nightmare

guiys. im feeling like im playing a over the top jrpg which sucks, do you have anytips how to beat this boss? when im fighting both cubes the same time i get 1 nearly destroyed but all the ♥♥♥♥ enemies attack me and i have to get out of the projectiles and enemies, this is nuts. thx

It's not a good fight in my opinion, and as much as I know, in everybody elses. You already did it, but in case you will do it again without the BFG, the fastest way to get rid of the eyes is quickly swapping between precision bolt and ballista. Try avoiding the hell knights and pinkies instead of killing them, because they infinitely respawn. Use grenades to falter and ice bomb to freeze. Of course you can kill if you have to, killing pinkies with a blood punch for example is a good idea, because it will damage and, more importantly, falter surrounding enemies. Just don't prioritize killing them. Concentrate on the stupid boxes and get out of the other foes way. In this regard it's similar to the Icon of Sin.
