dash not working?

every once in a while my dash just doesn't work at all, and I've died so many times because of it. other times I have to press the dash key like 20 times for it to actually do it once, it's getting really annoying

and I know someone is gonna say something like "DiD yOu PiCk Up ThE dAsH iN tHe SeCoNd MisSiOn??" yes, I did, you can't progress without it

Maybe you're pressing it but it hasn't recharged

it's always recharged, I made sure of it

how many times dashing in a signe jump until it fails? Just in case you're not sure, can only do a total of two dashes.

I know there's only a total of 2 dashes, what I mean is that sometimes it just doesn't work at all, even when it's charged, it's just fails

oh ok hmm what key are you using? It's not shift is it? like as in not Window's quick key thing stuffing you up?

This appears to be a bug, happens to me all the time in battlemode. There’s lots of little bugs like this unfortunately.

I’m battlemode it fixes itself on next round. My guess for campaign would be to reload checkpoint unless it’s UN in which case maybe try alt-f4 so it doesn’t delete your save.

hmm never experienced this

maybe your keyboard button is not work ? maybe you stuck something ? in purple thing you can't dash or jump

maybe just a very rare bug ?

possibly a bug. I use LCTRL instead of LSHIFT for my dash key, and LCTRL works perfectly fine on every other application, it's just this game where it sometimes doesn't work. also, this can happen anywhere

Maybe just remap for testing? If the problem is still there you know it's not the key.

sticky keys is off? press shift 5 times in quick succession. ctrl is part of it. Run the game with fullscreen optimisation turned off under compatibility for the game's exe. Just to see whether ctrl is trying to do something else outside of game somehow.

my entire life I've had sticky keys off, but I can see why that would be an issue

ok so I tried rebinding it to LSHIFT, but I got the exact same problem, and now it's obvious this is just some bug with the game
