[HELP] HAVING PROBLEMS SAVING GAME

The game told me that there is an error when the game is going to save, which makes it impossible to beat the game. Guys help me plz

What error? Did you verify game files? What happens when you close the game and restart? Does it put you back at the start of the map or where you left off?

I had that problem a few times. What always fixed it for me was to get a checkpoint in all the save slots (campaign as well as the Ancient God DLCs), and then restarting the game.

Be sure to make a copy of the game's saved data (\Path\To\Steam\userdata\<user_id>\782330) before trying anything! There's cloud saves as a backup, but they might of course already be corrupted too.

1. yes , it says no problem
2.same thing, when i finish the formal settings and start level , it says having problems when save
3.since i cant save anything, everything is new when I get into the game

the problem is I cant get a checkpoint. every time i reach one , the game says the same thing- having problems when saving. Luckily I am new to the game, which didnt gave me any problems because I didnt even start gaming steamsad:

I'm not sure on this, But maybe if you use the drop down menu when the error pops up the cause may be there. (` tilde key) drop down menu.

dude, problem found! but still dunno how to fix though
it says:

That has something to do with your profile in Doom Eternal. Your pose to delete that profile and it will auto create a new profile. Thats how you fix it. But I don't know how to do that.

I cant copy the codes in the control box , so i screenshot and use a robot to copy the words , so the codes might have spelling problem

Oh, I forgot to say, turn on the cloud in the steam settings. that may save your progress also.

Last point. Did you complete the 1st map and start the 2nd? or is it just not saving checkpoints?

i turned it on

and the answer is everytime i reached a checkpoint, there wil be a frame poped out and says"having error when save',so i havent complete anything yet
