Does Doom Eternal have deathmatch and team deathmatch?

I am choosing between Doom and Doom Eternal. And I'd like to know how does the multiplayer compare....Does it have deathmatch mode?

I wouldn't take multiplayer into consideration. Both games have extremely small playerbases for mp.

But to answer your question, Doom 2016 has traditional modes like deathmatch and control points. Eternal has a 2v1 pvp mode where one slayer fights two demons.

Only Doom 2016 has DM. Wouldn't make sense to play Eternal first anyway so you should buy 2016 first in any case.

they dont play similar at all since Halo is still cover and vehicle based in mp while DOOM is push forward all the way
