Doom Eternal real Save locations

Many post have the PC save locations incorrect. There are actually two separate locations.

1) Configuration files: "C:\Users\name\Saved Games\id Software\DOOMEternal\base"

2) Save Game data: D:\Steam\userdata\72017960\782330\remote
There are "GAME-AUTOSAVE" folders for each slot which contain the game-save data.

There is a "PROFILE" folder which contains the customized profile you create when you fist start the game. This is the default Slayer unless you actually customized it.

You can change your Slayer any time by:
1) First deleting the existing "PROFILE" folder

2) THEN go back to the Main Menu and Customize your Slayer, which will crate a new "PROFILE" folder. This means you can change your Slayer mid-game (I've done it).

Alternatively you can use this thing to extract your saves for backups, inject someone else's saves or open the profile and play with profile variables.

there are no such folders, you are showing custom locations not default ones. can you pleas specify?
